This is not a collection of generic craft tools. Our starter kit has been developed and refined through years of hands-on experience with Silver Clay. Many of the tools, guides, texture plates and storage elements have been designed in-house by Bubele to make the process more intuitive, precise and enjoyable – especially if you're working with Silver Clay for the first time.

Developed in-house by a Swiss engineer, with many components locally produced in Zurich using renewable materials, the result is a thoughtfully designed premium starter kit that gives you the freedom to turn your ideas into unique pieces of jewellery.

From Clay to Real Silver – At Home

At the heart of the kit is 10 g of Art Clay Silver. Shape it like ordinary clay, add beautiful textures, create your own details and design jewellery that reflects your personal style.

Once your creation has completely dried, suitable small pieces can be fired using the included butane torch.

During firing, the clay's organic binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, transforming your creation into 99.9%+ fine silver.

With the Torch Edition, you can experience the transformation from clay to silver yourself – without sending your jewellery away for professional firing.

We discovered that many conventional jewellery-making tools weren't specifically designed for Silver Clay. So we started developing our own.

The kit includes a collection of Bubele-designed tools and accessories for shaping, measuring, texturing and refining your jewellery.

Everything has its place inside our modular storage system, making the box compact enough to store away while providing a complete creative workspace when opened.

The butane torch is supplied without gas. The torch shown in the product images is an example; the supplied model may differ in brand, colour or appearance while offering comparable functionality.

How It Works

1. Design

Create your own ring, pendant or charm using the Silver Clay, tools, textures and decorative elements included in your kit.

Silver Clay shrinks during firing. For rings, we recommend choosing a forming size approximately 2–3 US ring sizes larger than your desired finished size.

2. Dry

Allow your jewellery to dry completely according to the instructions before firing.

3. Fire Your Jewellery

For suitable small creations, use the included butane torch to transform your dried Silver Clay into real silver.

Choose a sheltered, well-ventilated outdoor workspace and place your jewellery on a suitable heat-resistant ceramic firing block over a stable, non-combustible surface. Keep flammable materials away and follow the torch and Silver Clay manufacturers' firing instructions.

The firing block, butane gas and any additional protective equipment are not included unless otherwise specified.

4. Finish

Once your jewellery has cooled safely, brush and polish it to reveal the beautiful silver surface.

5. Enjoy Your Creation

Wear, gift or treasure a unique piece of fine silver jewellery – designed and made entirely by you.

A Few Important Notes

- Torch firing is suitable for certain small Silver Clay pieces; larger or more complex designs may require professional kiln firing.

- Only use stones that are specifically approved for the chosen firing method. Not all zirconia stones are suitable for torch firing.

- Always work on a suitable heat-resistant setup, away from flammable materials, and follow the supplied instructions.

• Professional firing service is not included with this kit.
